Our story
From a small Belgian workshop to a Czech production base trusted worldwide.
1982 – 1986 · Lievens Houtem, Belgium
The beginning
Dirk Timmerman founded Multi Air and started producing foam filters.
1986 – 2015 · Wuustwezel, Belgium
Building the brand
As Mr. Timmerman moved over the ocean to the USA with his family, Mark Ribbens and Myriam Marien Ribbens took over the company and production and started to develop the brand. After presentations at the trade shows in Munich, Cologne and Milan the expansion of the export increased and also many well-known riders helped to build the brand such as Stefan Everts, Joel Smets or Pit Beirer which helped the brand to get in the mind of many people.
2015 – 2016 · Cologne, Germany
New ownership
Small bike builder and mechanic from the Czech Republic, Jan Vašík, got an idea to buy Multi Air and so he planned a trip to Cologne where he met Myriam and Marc. After their meeting and some time Jan went to Wuustwezel to sign the contract and learn everything about Multi Air.

In 2016 Jan took over Multi Air and moved production under his company VM BIKE s.r.o. based in Milevsko, Czech Republic.
